Liza is home in Newfoundland

We are very excited to have Liza back home with us.  She gave me a full body hug when she came out of the kennel at the airport.  I am sure that there will be photos in the next few days.  Thanks again to Linda McCartney-Roy for not only finishing her American Championship but put also getting Liza well on the way to her Grand Championship.

American Championship for Liza

Liza finished her American Championship in style today.  She got Best of Opposite Sex from the classes at the Central New York Kennel Club  show under judge Charlotte Patterson for a 4 point major win.  I would like to thank Linda McCartney Roy for showing her beautifully and finishing her championship in less than 2 months!  I have heard that Liza just loves Linda and together they make a great team.   Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, and Linda sent me this photo to show she had finished today.  We are so proud of our little "Sweetspot"!

First Agility Trial

Liza entered her first Agility trial this weekend with the Newfoundland Athletic Dog Association.  It was great fun, I just wish I could keep up to her.  We did not qualify but placed in 3 out of 4 classes.

A Day at the Beach

Yesterday we all enjoyed a day at the beach with 2 kids and 3 Dals.  It was a lovely afternoon with warm sunny weather.  Here is Liza enjoying the water with Len.

Like a Dal in MUD

Today we all went climbing in Holyrood about 20 min from St. John's.  The weather was as good as it gets on "the rock".  Liquorice said that she had missed her visit to the spa in recent months and insisted that she take a mud pack facial.  At age 12 years old Liquorice still has tons of stamina, and fully enjoyed the outing!
