Fun in the Sun

Today it was lovely and warm and the puppies had their first adventure to the back deck.  They spent about 1.5 hours on the deck enjoying the sunshine under the shade of a sheet over the exercise pen.  They were visited by my daughter and her friend.  

This is Brown Boy looking very cute.
Brown boy has Black spots - I know that will cause confusion but the pups are born white and it is very hard to tell if they are black or liver on the first day.  Brown is the collar colour that we gave this boy.  We use collars to tell the puppies apart.

Someone did not believe that we had liver spotted girls, so here they are.

Liver spotted Dalmatians have brown spots and brown noses.

Mom Makes a Great Pillow

The eyes are open and the spotting is starting to show and they are up and walking. Some are starting to lift their heads at sounds and are much more interactive.  My daughter Fern keeps saying "They are sooooo cute" and she is right, they are "So cute".

The puppies are all doing well and growing.  I thought we had 3 liver puppies but we only have 2 - they fooled me. Here is a shot of Brown Boy who is black spotted with his mom having a snooze.  

Meet the Pups

Hi Everyone,

We are settling down here now.  Liza is being a great mom. My kids and I  had the stomach flu and I am hoping that today will be a normal day.

The photos were taken on the day they after were born.  I will take more pictures soon.
