Henry Update
This is a note from Juliane Foley about Henry.
"Henry is still a wonderful wonderful dog and still thinks he is a kid. My 4 year old daughter is head over heals in love with him. Nothing makes her happier than Henry. She gives him so much love and he her - it is very nice. My 6 year old son Owen plays fetch and tug-a-war with him and also likes to play chase with him. Not as much petting and loving as Amelia gives him but he definitely enjoys him. We are in basic manners training with him now - although I'm not sure he needs that class. He is super smart. The other day I watched him climb up the kids climbing wall on their jungle gym outside. This really is an incredible thing as he has to hook his paws to pull himself up. it looks strange and human like. I want to discourage him from it because I'm afraid he will hook a leg and then slip. When he gets up there he dances around with the kids then goes down the slide."

Miley's First title
Congratulations Miley! You are now Sweetspot Hot2Spot Best of Both Worlds CGC
To see more of Miley check out the Hot 2 Spot Dalmatian website at:
http://www.hot2spotdalmatians.com/
CGC stands for Cainine Good Citizen and Miley has had to pass a test administered by the American Kennel Club evaluator.
**The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program, established in 1989, is an American Kennel Clubprogram to promote responsible dog ownership and to encourage the training of well-mannered dogs. A dog and handler team must take a short behavioral evaluation of less than half an hour; dogs who pass the evaluation earn the Canine Good Citizen certificate, which many people represent after the dog's name, abbreviating it as CGC; for example, "Fido, CGC".
The evaluation consists of ten objectives. All items must be completed satisfactorily or the team fails. Test items include:
- Accepting a friendly stranger.
- Sitting politely for petting.
- Allowing basic grooming procedures.
- Walking on a loose lead.
- Walking through a crowd.
- Sitting and lying down on command and staying in place.
- Coming when called.
- Reacting appropriately to another dog.
- Reacting appropriately to distractions.
- Calmly enduring supervised separation from the owner.

This photo is of Ari who graduated the top dog in his puppy class.
Ari received a $50 gift certificate for his first place in his obedience class. I expect that he is now doing well in his Advanced Obedience Class now.
